Among his many exploits, he also came to my comedy club and pranked me.
Niko asked me if he could perform at one of my London stand-up comedy shows under the guise of filming a documentary about his first ever stand-up gig. He performed. It didn't go brilliantly.
I told him, politely but honestly, that reading his set off his phone wasn't the done thing, and that his next show likely wasn't going to be the greatest I'd ever seen.
He came back the following night. The crowd loved everything he did. I MCd the show, brought him on stage, and told him afterwards it was the best second gig I had ever seen.
