MTV flew me to New York to interview Damon and Jamie and kindly gave me back stage access at their gig at the legendary Apollo in Harlem.

We then hired the mighty Phil Cornwell, who voiced Murdoc in the band, to come in and voice my script. I was given full access to the entire animated back catalogue for Gorillaz, plus some brand new stuff.

While my career niche was cinema programming, this turned out to be one of the best shows I ever made, IMHO.
